Common pediatric abdominal surgical procedures include: inguinal and umbilical hernias, hydroceles, undescended testicles, circumcision, malrotation and volvulus, pediatric portal hypertension, pyloric stenosis, appendectomy, pull-through for Hirchsprung's disease, surgery for gastroesophageal reflux, and others.

Dr. Hoover is very happy to meet with expectant parents to discuss surgical problems which may be diagnosed in their infant prenatal.
